The core ion beam technologies developed for our triple quadrupole platform, combined with ultra&dasl;fast MS and MS/MS data acquisition rates opened‐up new possibilities in quantitative mass spectrometry. GCMS NX Series

Shimadzu have just launched three brand‐new GCMS systems! The new GCMS‐QP2020 NX single quadrupole, and GCMS‐TQ8040 NX & GCMS‐TQ8050 NX triple quadrupole models, which debuted this month at BMSS in Cambridge. These will be available for demonstration in the Milton Keynes evaluation lab very soon! The incredible new hardware combines high‐speed and highly sensitive mass spectrometers with the Next Industry Standard GC, the Nexis GC‐2030, to provide systems that offer market‐leading performance and ease‐of‐use.

The NX series of GCMS instruments have been designed with the analyst in mind and all feature the following new technology:

  • Easy liner replacement with ClickTek technology
  • PrepRun function for reduced carrier gas consumption
  • Active Time Management displays remaining time for various tasks to increase analyst efficiency
  • Improved gas control for enhanced reproducibility
  • Constant flow, pressure and linear velocity carrier control!
